Coral reefs are incredible art forms of nature, that adorn our seas and oceans and are important to the diversity and health of our oceans. Making up only 0.2 percent of our oceans, Coral Reefs contain around a quarter of all marine fish species. They are second only to rain forests in biodiversity of species. Several coastal communities around the world including those in India, are dependent on the coral reefs for their livelihood and food.
