Onam, a festival mainly celebrated in the Indian state of Kerala to mark the homecoming of the king Mahabali is a carnival which lasts for 10 days across the state.  The celebration includes the traditional snake boat race, the Kaikotikali dance, and of course, the food.

Onasandhya, the sensational lavish multi-course meal that consists of nearly 26 vegetarian dishes is served on a big banana leaf. Let us introduce you to some of the most delicious dishes of an Onam meal.
