The Jungle Book” is an all-new live-action epic adventure about Mowgli (newcomer Neel Sethi), a man-cub who’s been raised by a family of wolves. The new movie releasing on April 9th,is based on Rudyard Kipling’s timeless stories and inspired by Disney’s classic animated film, “The Jungle Book”.
“Jungle Jungle Baat Chali Hai” is the childhood anthem of everyone in the 1990s. Generations of Indians have grown up on this song. Disney India thought of reviving the legendary title track for the upcoming release of The Jungle Book.
The Original Title Track
To bring back some memories for those who have watched the classic animated programme from the yesteryear, and also for those who have missed the opportunity, here is the original version of the title song of ‘ The Jungle Book’ .
This was the first collaboration between Gulzar and Vishal Bhardwaj and also according to Vishal, was the first successful song composed by him. The successful partnership has given several beautiful songs ever since. Gulzar later went on to win the Academy Awards (Oscars) and Grammy as well as the Dadasaheb Phalke award for his contribution to Cinema and Music.
